Wear It Wild!
Children and teachers in the ten primary schools in the Learn Academies Trust (Learn-AT) have raised over £1,700 for the WWF by dressing up in wildlife-inspired fancy dress for Wear It Wild Day
The idea came from Gwenan, a pupil at Great Bowden Academy and a WWF Green Ambassador, who said: “Animals are just as important as people. We live and die on the same planet. The world is a better and happier place with animals. It is very important to look after all the animals that are in danger from hunters, from pollution, from global warming and from businesses that have no respect for the planet. Children at the Learn-At schools can help to make a difference.”
