Learn Academies Trust was established in September 2016 to serve children and families in Church of England and Community schools in South Leicestershire. The organisation grew from a group of local Market Harborough primaries who had been working together in a collaborative trust since 2012. In 2016, five of those primaries:

• Great Bowden CE Academy
• Lubenham All Saints CE Primary School
• Meadowdale Primary School
• Market Harborough CE Academy
• Ridgeway Primary Academy

were joined by two Church of England maintained schools:

• Husbands Bosworth CE Primary School
• St Andrew’s CE Primary School, North Kilworth

to form Learn Academies Trust. Since then the Trust has welcomed twelve more members:

• Church Langton CE Primary School (November 2017)
• Blaby Stokes CE Primary School (February 2018)
• Red Hill Field Primary School (July 2018)
• South Kilworth CE Primary School (September 2020)
• Bottesford CE Primary School (October 2023)
• Queniborough CE Primary School (October 2023)
• Thrussington CE Primary School (October 2023)
• Scalford CE Primary School (December 2023)
• All Saints CE Primary School (February 2024)
• Hope Hamilton CE Primary School (February 2024)
• Houghton-on-the-Hill CE Primary School (February 2024)
• Richard Hill CE Primary School (February 2024)
