17th Century Garden Recreated in Paper at Richard Hill!
Published 24/03/25Children at our Trust school Richard Hill CE Primary School had the had the most amazing time recently recreating the Rector's Garden based on a financial document from 1694 found in the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland archive by Dr Susan Kilby, heritage education officer for Charnwood Forest Geopark

Learn-AT Schools Celebrate Year of Fundraising for Rainbows Hospice for Babies, Children and Young People
Published 06/01/25Colleagues from Learn Academies Trust (Learn-AT), an educational trust of 19 schools in the East Midlands, were honoured to visit Rainbows Hospice for Babies, Children and Young People recently, to present them with a cheque for £5945. After school council members across the Trust selected Rainbows Hospice to be their Charity of the Year, the campaign received overwhelming support from children, parents, staff and school community members. Numerous events have taken place over the last 12 months aiming to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause, including a 140km bike ride undertaken by the Trust Central Team, who cycled to all of the Trust schools in one day.

Children receive letter from Sir David Attenborough
Published 01/10/24News has been spreading fast about the lovely letter that the children at our Trust school Church Langton CE Primary School received from Leicester's very own Sir David Attenborough.
After writing to hint to tell him that they were studying him as part of their work on 'The lives of significant individuals’, they were delighted to receive a reply from him saying how complimented he was!
