Church Langton Primary celebrates strong SIAMS Inspection Report

Church Langton Church of England Primary School is celebrating an excellent SIAMS inspection outcome, with inspectors recognising it as a community where both pupils and adults truly flourish. The report praises the school’s strong Christian vision - centred on kindness, endurance and courage - which shapes a culture of care, inclusion and high expectations. Inspectors highlighted the school’s nurturing atmosphere, rich curriculum, effective leadership in Religious Education and reflective collective worship.
The school’s sense of community was also commended, with pupils described as happy, respectful and eager to contribute. Headteacher Mr Ross thanked staff for their dedication, paying particular tribute to former Headteacher Mrs Anderson and RE lead Mrs Russell for their leadership in preparing for the inspection. While the report identifies areas for further development, such as deepening pupils’ understanding of diverse faiths and encouraging responses to injustice, the school is already committed to building on these strengths.
Mr Ross described the outcome as a strong foundation for the future, reaffirming the school’s commitment to helping every child grow, succeed and make a positive difference.
