Learn-AT Professional, formerly Learn-AT Teaching School, works with teachers, leaders and schools both locally and nationally in different strands of school improvement and professional development.
Its work is based on two underlying principles, professional learning and professional collaboration. Through its work with strategic partners at the University of Leicester, the Teacher Development Trust and the Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership, it provides professional learning pathways including Initial Teacher Training and the new National Professional Qualifications. Equally important is its approach of professional collaboration, through its networks and iterative programmes on curriculum design, it works with school leaders to learn together from a rich evidence based supported by Learn-AT Associate Research School.
Associate Research School
Learn-AT Professional is delighted to be an Associate Research School working in partnership with Kyra Research School in Lincolnshire. The designation from the Education Endowment Foundation was recognition of the development of the Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Research Hub. The hub has been the result of collaborative work between teaching schools and local authorities across each area. A team of 10 Evidence Leads in Education are used to support evidence-informed school improvement across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Leicester City, Rutland and Northamptonshire.
Kyra Research School works with a thriving collaboration of over 50 schools in the Teaching School Alliance and regional strategic partners, working together to be ambitious for all children.
